Ultrasound can penetrate our skin and muscles, without any radiation, and without contrast agents. It is a very safe non-invasive detection method.The probe emits high-frequency sound waves, which will be reflected when they reach organs or body tissues. The receiver analyzes the echo direction and duration, and uses advanced computer technology to convert to real-time images.

"Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used to examine body structures and physiological processes.An MRI scanner used strong magnetic fields, magnetic field gradients, and radio waves to create images of the internal organs. There is no X-rays or ionizing radiation involved.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound upper abdomen scan: Fast for 6 hours prior to the examination, small amount of plain water is allowed, full urinary bladder is required.
Ultrasound whole abdomen scan: Fast for 6 hours prior to the examination, small amount of plain water is allowed, full urinary bladder is required.
Ultrasound pelvic/prostate scan: Try to drink plenty of water half an hour before the examination, full urinary bladder is required.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)
Before scanning, the patient must take off all metal objects (such as: earrings, watches, necklaces and detachable dentures, etc.) on the body, so not to cause adverse effects on the patient or the instrument due to the impact of strong magnetic field during the scanning process and to maintain high quality images. For patients with inplanted metallic device, please provide model number at the time of booking.
MR abdominal or pelvic scan: Fast for 4 hours prior to the examination, small amount of plain water is allowed.
MR cholangiopancreatography (MRCP Scan): Fast for 4 hours prior to the examination.
